Funghetti

At the end spring time arrived, but the last wet weeks were quite terrible. And we noted some nice mushrooms within our cyclamen on the balcony…
Ciclamini low cost
September 10, 2012 // Posted in flowers | No Comments
During the European Food Market you can find not only food, but also nice (and cheap) flowers from Holland. This year cyclamens were particularly cheap, so, together with Silvia’s mom we bought 24 of them for only 10 euros. Not so bad…
Trionfo di orchidee
August 16, 2012 // Posted in flowers | No Comments
We often proudly published some pictures about our orchids (here, here and here). We are not so expert, probably we are just lucky, but orchids here seems to happily live. So today we cannot avoid to show you that three of our five orchids bloomed at the same time. Aren’t they so nice?
Fioriture

Spring time always brings new flowers here at sacchibelli’s. This year, although now weather looks quite bad, the old orchid that we already posted in 2009 (here), gave us new flowers. Moreover after the pink tulip posted , a new tulip appeared from the bulbs Ali and Fil gave us last Christmas: a black one!!!
I tulipani di Ali e Fil
April 1, 2012 // Posted in flowers | 3 Comments
Last Christmas our friends Ali e Fil gave us as a gift 4 tulip bulbes. We really like flowers, and now that spring time has arrived, here you can see the first one.
Primavera

Spring time at the end arrived, and today weather was so warm that we had the sensation to be at the beginning of the summer. And after the winter, nature is coming back… So here you can see the first flower of the season from our yellow hibiscus
L’azalea di gennaio
January 15, 2012 // Posted in flowers | No Comments
Winter here in Pavia is not that cold as expected, at least till now. However all the plants that, in the other seasons, we have on the balcony, have been moved inside the apartment and the Azalea has decided that Spring time has come…
Ibischi

In these days weather is really bad here in Pavia (and in Italy in general). It is very hot and wet, something usually normal, but this year it was surprisingly a good summer till few days ago. Nevertheless now it seems to live in an oven… However our hibiscus seems to love such a weather, and here you can see a beatifull yellow flower, together with the red one in the background
Una cena con Fede, Dede e Stefano
July 1, 2011 // Posted in flowers, friends | No Comments
We didn’t have any friend for a dinner here at our place since longtime. So yesterday we were very happy to invite Fede, Dede and Stefano. Fede and Dede are Silvia’s historic friends, and together with them and Stefano we shared a really nice evening. They survived to our dinner and we just spent the all evening talking and friendly discussing about many topics. We really enjoyed staying with them. Thanks again for coming, and thanks also for the lovely orchid you brought to us.
Un weekend floreale
May 16, 2011 // Posted in flowers | No Comments
Spring time is always our favorite season, and this year we are having great flowers on our balconies. The newest ones are nasturzi, very nice flowers whose seeds (received as a gift from our friend Federica) were planted last February. Another very interesting flower we are enjoying with is the famous (se here and here) persistent orchid that is now seven months old…. To complete our floral weekend, we then visited the local botanic garden, that was exceptionally open.
