Picnic a Poggio
August 29, 2016 // Posted in friends, Travels, Uncategorized | No Comments
We spent the last August Sunday in Poggio Ferrato, at Chiara, Luca, Anna and Marta’s home. It was a special day, with the first picnic of Lorenzo and Bea, and with an amazing afternoon spent around their beautifull house, so full of toys. Thanks a lot for being so kind and so special with us. And thanks also do super nonna Carla and nonno Max.
Una pizza belga/olandese

We miss Davide a lot. He is a great friend, now living in Leuven, Belgium. He left from Pavia at the end of 2008, we saw him last time in 2012 (see here), so we were very happy to stay with him for pizza and beer. In fact he came back to Pavia for Briscola’s wedding, and we didn’t loose the occasion to see him again. Thnaks also to Marcello (coming from The Netherlands) and Fernando for staying with us.
Al parco dei dinosauri

Today, the last day before to come back to the office, we decided to visit the “The World of Dinosaurs“, a dinosaurs exhibition in the park of the castle of Piovera, not too far from Pavia. The exhibition was very impressive, and although there were a lot of mosquitos and it was too hot and wet, we really enjoyed it. And Lorenzo in paritcular was very excited.

Today, in the afternoon, we went at Ilaria’s and Michele’s place. Here Lorenzo enjoyed the great amount of Michele’s toys, and we had some fun. While Francesca and Ilaria went out for shopping (at Arese), we invited Marco and Michele for an easy dinner at our place. We prepared a more than decent “risotto con salsiccia e fagioli”), and the babies were very excited. At the end, a bit of TV and some milk for the younger helped reaching a more quiet atmosphere. Thanks for coming, and see you soon.
Piccoli ciclisti

After many bike rides with both Lorenzo and Beatrice in their little seats, we are approaching a new phase of our life bike oriented. Lorenzo, still with thesmall wheels, is starting to ride across the city, and Bea try to follow him with the tryke.
Senigallia 2016

Quest’anno invece Bea cammina e corre felice, e Lorenzo e’ decisamente maturato.
This year we spent our summer holidays in Senigallia, exactly like the last year. Same location, same accomodation (a nice house with a big garden), same happiness. Beatrice is now more independent, and Lorenzo less jealous, so at the end, the vacation was more relaxing for all of us. We enjoyed Senigallia, the lovely Summer Jamboree, the beautiful beach, the freedom of the bike rides through the city, some special breakfast at Ser Caramello, the amazing ciauscolo, some new friendship and also the presence of “zia Lulu’, zio Paolo and little Francesca”. Next year we probably will change location, but for sure we left a piece of our heart in Senigallia.
We took a lot of pictures, and there is no way to write text enough to embed them through the post, so let’s add at the end of this post some of the pictures we like more.
