Il gruppo “Affamati” racchiude i compagni di corso che, negli anni, hanno stretto una profonda amicizia, condivisa sui banchi dell’universita’, e resistita al passare degli anni e degli eventi.

E quando Matteo e Valentina ripassano da queste parti, è sempre bello cogliere l’occasione per ritrovarci. Sono passati 30 anni dalla nostra laurea, ma insieme ci si diverte sempre tantissimo.

L’ultima uscita targata “Pedale-Maiale” risale a 6 anni fa, con la pedalata fino a Domodossola, l’ultima in cui abbiamo potuto avere Ivan a pedalare insieme a noi.
Il vuoto causato dalla scomparsa di Ivan ha inevitabilmente inghiottito anche il rituale del Pedale-Maiale, che di fatto e’ finito. Ma il piacere di pedalare, insieme agli amici, e’ qualcosa che sopravvive, e’ uno stato mentale cosi’, seppur a fatica, si cerca di proseguire.
Con Antonio e Alessandro (aka, il Pesu) siamo cosi’ tornati, 13 anni dopo, sulle colline intorno a Finale Ligure, sfiorando quella salita al Melogno, anche nota come “Il volo delle anatre”, e descrivendo un anello di saliscendi davvero entusiasmante, baciato dal sole, accompagnato dal vento e culminato, come inevitabile che fosse, in un ottimo pranzo a Finalborgo.
It was since a while that we didn’t ride together; since Ivan passed away, the magic of Pedale-Maiale is not here anymore. But to ride in lovely place, with good friends, is something that helps. So here we are, together with Pesu and Antonio, back around Finale Ligure. See more details here.
