Today it was time for Lorenzo’s first haircut. It was a quite exciting experience from his point of view, but at the end Raffaella was able to do a great job. And now, if possible, he looks more cute!!!

Last weekend we went again to the sea, stopping in Ventimiglia, the last city of Liguria before France. Weather was not good, however we enjoyed this experience too. And this morning, before to leave, we had the opportunity to visit Mentone, a very nice place. And it was the first time for Lorenzo in a foreign country.

Christmas is not so far now, and at our place too some decoration appeared. The major change compared to last year (see here) is our new Christmas tree, bigger than the previous one, to celebrate little Lorenzo. And let’s hope that we will find many gifts under this tree, on December the 25th…

We were planning this since some weeks, and at the end, last Saturday, little Lorenzo started his swimming activity. We went to piscina Folperti, and here, with Giulia as instructress, he started to have confidence with water. And the first impression was very positive. Let’s continue next Saturday…

Last Sunday it was the “nonna Carla” name day. So, after lunch we went to her place and here we found a meeting with all the grandparents, and also uncle Vice. There was a great apple cake, we ate also roasted chestnuts prepared by Silvia and we share some happy moment with the irresistible Lorenzo. And here is the picture.

At the end, the warm Fall season seems to be finished, and now weather is starting to become colder and colder. So, to go out, also little Lorenzo needs to be wraped out. But he looks quite happy…

Lorenzo is now six months old, and although he is still a little baby, day by day he is growing. Last Saturday we went out for a dinner at Luca’s and Chiara’s place, two dear friends, with a lovely little baby girl (Anna). It was our first dinner out with Lorenzo, and it was great, also thanks to the kindness of Luca and Chiara. Thanks!!!!!

Yesterday we had our friends Ivan and Gabry at our place for a tea. They came bringing tasty pastries and a lovely peluche sheep for Lorenzo, directly coming from Ireland, where they spent their summer holidays. Ivan didn’t allow us to take a new photo group(here you can find the most recent we have), so we decided to publish the picture of such a lovely sheep. Thanks a lot!

Last Sunday we went to Sartirana, the place where Silvia spent the first years of her life, because there was the “Sagra della rana“. Although weather was not so exciting, the site was very crowded, and it was exciting for us and Lorenzo to meet so many people waiting for him. And Lorenzo smiled a lot, and also excercised his terrific voice. It really was a very good Sunday.

At the hospital, when Lorenzo was born, we knew Cin cin, a young chinese mother, and her little Federica. Lorenzo and Federica where close each other in the hospital crib, and today, after 4 months, we met each other at Luisella’s (a dear friend of Cin cin) place. And it was amazing to see the two infants looking each other. Thanks to Luisella and her fantastic family for guesting us at their place. We are sure we will meet again!!!
