Festeggiamenti

During this period of the year, so full of holidays, it often happens that someone comes at our place for a snack or for a dinner. So on Monday we invited “zia Lulu'” and “zio Paolo” for a polenta based dinner (thanks Silvia for the lovely food), and it was a really funny evening. Little Lorenzo was so excited!!! Thanks Luisa and Paolo for joining us!!!

Babbo Natale

This is the second Crhistmas we live with little Lorenzo. The first one was special, being the first one, but this time Lorenzo is more interactive and funny. So we also assisted to the visit of Santa Clauss, who came, in the evening of December the 24th, bringing great gifts to Lorenzo. At the begininnig he was a bit worried, but at the end Lorenzo was very happy with both Santa Clauss and her brother Salvo. Thanks also for the lovely pictures.

A presto!!!!
Little Lorenzo is full of uncles and aunts (real or adopted); one of them, coming from far away (Portland) is zia Dany, and he met her last Saturday, when Dany came at our place for a short visit during her Christmas break. It was an exciting day, with also a jump in the swimming pool. And Lorenzo is really enthusiastic about zia Dany, also because she gave him an amazing gift: a lamp projecting on the ceiling little stars and fishes. And every morning, when Lorenzo wakes up, he switches on the lamp to admire such a black magic. Thanks a lot zia Dany

Time is flying, and it seems that we bought our new Christmas tree few days ago, and not one year ago (see here). Someone is growing, while others are getting older, but, although boundary conditions are not ideal, when we are all together, we are very happy. So, here we are wishing Merry Christams to all our readers.

Una pizza con gli zii
December 10, 2013 // Posted in family, food, friends | No Comments
Grazie!!!
Yesterday we had “zio Paolo” and “zia Lulu'” (Lorenzo prefers to call in such a way zia Luisa) at our place for a pizza. And it was a great evening, with Lorenzo really excited and happy. He usualli sleeps at 9.30 pm, but yesterday we had to waiy 11.00 pm to convince him to go to sleep. Thanks for coming zio Paolo and zia Lulu’, you made Lorenzo (and also us) very happy.

Una pizza coi nonni
November 16, 2013 // Posted in family | No Comments
Grazie nonni!!!
This weekend we don’t have any particular plan and we will stay at home because little Lorenzo is still a bit sick. However tonight we surprisingly were able to convince granparents Beppe and Carla to stay with us for a pizza. And Lorenzo was really excited about that. Thanks!!!!

W i pompieri
November 10, 2013 // Posted in Lorenzo | No Comments
All the children in the world love firefighters. And for Lorenzo is the same. So yesterday, when met our friend Lorenzo (the old one) dressed as a firefighter (as he is), little Lorenzo was very happy to accept his invitation to visit the fire station. So here you can find both Lorenzo on some firefighter vehicle.

Piccoli costruttori crescono

After a long (18 months) destructive phase, Lorenzo started to tolerate that mom and dad build a castle with wood bricks, without destroying it when it reaches a signigicant height. Maybe soon he will help too in the construction phase…

Lorenzo and Sokratis
November 3, 2013 // Posted in friends, Lorenzo | No Comments
Grazie davvero!
Today in the afternon we had Maria Cristina and Alexandros, and their little Sokratis, at our place, together with Matteo and Mariateresa. It was amazing to see Lorenzo and Sokratis play together, like it happens at the nursery, and it has been very nice to feel the sensation of being together with true friends. We know Matteo and Mariateresa since a lot of time, but we were very happy to start a new friendship with Maria Cristina and Alexandros too. And we hope to see you all pretty soon. Thanks again.

Breakfast at Casaschi
October 20, 2013 // Posted in food, Lorenzo | No Comments
In the past, before Lorenzo arrived, we used to go, on Sunday morning, to “Pasticceria Casaschi” for a sweet breakfast. Today, after longtime, we decided to come back, together with Lorenzo. And it was really nice to have breakfast all together in a so special place…
