Quest’anno, a differenza degli altri anni, anche a Pasqua siamo rimasti a Pavia. Dopo il rito dell’apertura delle uova di cioccolatosiamo andati a pranzo a casa di Marco e Francesca, per la gioia di Lorenzo e Bea, coccolati da Michele e Ilaria. E’ stata un po’ la replica del Natale, con lo stesso ottimo (e abbondante) pranzo, e la vivacità dei bimbi a fare da leit-motif. E c’e’ stata pure l’occasione per immortalare i nonni con tutti e quattro i nipoti.

This year, at Easter day, we had a lunch at Marco’s and Francesca’s place, exactly like it happened at Christmas. The lunch was good and huge, as expected, and Lorenzo and Bea really enjoyed staying with their “big” cousins Michele and Ilaria. They brought a lot of happiness and excitation, and there was also the possibility, for the grandparents, to get a picture with all their nephews

Sette anni fa (il 16 aprile) nasceva Lorenzo, regalandoci una gioia senza pari. E ritrovarsi, con due giorni di anticipo, a festeggiare il suo settimo compleanno è stato bello e speciale. Sette anni sono tanti, ma sono volati. Sette anni sono tanti, ma Lorenzo è comunque sempre un bimbo, adorabile e testone, e la sua felicità è la nostra gioia. Ci siamo stretti intorno a lui, con gli amici più cari e i parenti più stretti, in una appassionante festa incentrata su una caccia al tesoro un po’ artigianale, ma divertente. Insomma, è stata una bella festa, coi sorrisi, l’entusiasmo, la torta, la pignatta, i giochi e non poca emozione. Tanti auguri Lorenzino…

Seven years ago Lorenzo arrived. And he made our life full of joy. It is unbelievable, but in a while seven years fled so fast. And it was nice to see Lorenzo so happy and smiling during his birthday celebrations, with his friends. We organized a self made treasure hunt, and it was funny enough, although weather was not so good. Thanks Lorenzo for being our special kid, thanks to your friends for being so kind with you, and thanks for your fantastic toothless smile…

Giuseppe, Carmen, Lorenzo e Giulia sono partiti per Pisa quasi due anni fa (vedi qui), all’epilogo della vicenda Marvell. Il vuoto che hanno lasciato è grande, e faticosamente cerchiamo di colmarlo andandoli a trovare di tanto in tanto. Meno di quanto vorremmo, ma con una certa regolarità. Così questo weekend siamo stati in quel di Pisa, e al solito la magia dello stare insieme, divertendosi e raccontandosi, si è realizzata. La gioia reciproca di Lorenzo e Giulia nel rivedersi, l’allegria di Bea, e veder giocare insieme in allegria Lorenzo grande (un ometto ormai), Lorenzo, Giulia e Bea non ha prezzo. E questo weekend e’ stato reso ancora piu’ speciale dallo spettacolare alloggio dove siamo stati: “Da noi” a Pisa“, un posto magico, appena fuori le mura, e a due passi da quella che, probabilmente, è la piazza più bella del mondo…

Giuseppe, Carmen, Lorenzo and Giulia moved to Pisa almost 2 years ago (see here) after Marvell closure. A not easy choice for them, with a new starting from scratch in a new city. But we miss them a lot, and we do our best to see them as often as possible. So this weekend we went to Pisa, and we shared with them all the weekend. It was, as usual, a very nice experience, with a lot of fun, and a lot of talks. Thanks for being so kind with us, thanks for making Lorenzo and Bea so happy when playing with Lorenzo and Giulia. Thanks for being so special, and so friends….

Se lo scorso weekend tutto è filato liscio e ci siamo concessi una giornata di mare, questo weekend qualcosa è andato storto e la piccola Bea, con una gastroenterite piuttosto violenta, si è vinta una gita al pronto soccorso e conseguente ricovero a Pediatria. Pero’ è già in ripresa, e confidiamo di averla a casa fra pochi giorni.

While last weekend everything went fine and we spent a great Saturday at Finale Ligure, this weekend something went wrong. Bea got a serious stomach flu, and, after a visit to the first aid, doctors decided to check her into the hospital. The situation is quiet enough, she is already recovering but for sure we are more happy when we are all together.
