Oggi, con la festa congiunta di Rebecca e Chiara (I), quasi tutti i verdi si sono riuniti all’oratorio, per una giornata davvero speciale. Pranzo assieme e poi giochi spensierati, sfruttando previsioni meteo migliori del previsto. Grazie di cuore a tutti per l’organizzazione e per la bellissima festa
Today we participated to the birthday celebration of Rebecca (with some delay) and of Chiara I (with some advance), at the oratorio, together with a lot of Bea’s school mate. It was a great celebration and we all had a lot of fun.
Anche se piove, il Bambinfestival regala comunque spunti sempre interessanti, come lo spettacolo di marionette “Storie brevi”, dell’associazione “Pane e Mate“, presso “Radio Aut“. E poi, con Viola e Giulia, che là abbiamo incontrato, ci siamo concessi un ottimo e allegro gelato.
Although it is a raining may, today we went to an interesting exhibition at “Radio Aut“, in the context of Bambinfestival organization. And we also met Giulia and Viola and with them, and with papà Carlo, we went also for a good “gelato” all toghether.
Sabato sera abbiamo avuto il piacere di avere a cena Luca e Chiara, con Anna e Marta, per la gioia di Lorenzo e Bea, che hanno giocato insieme tutta sera e, visto che si trattava di un giorno speciale, hanno potuto cenare guardando un cartone alla TV….

When we stay together with Luca, Chiara, Anna e Marta, it is always nice. And last Saturday we had them at our place for a dinner. And, as usual, we had a lot of fun, and the kids enjoyed also to eat looking a cartoon at the TV
Dopo una domenica, quella scorsa, dedicata alla pallavolo, questa volta è toccato al basket. Una weekend piovoso, che ha compromesso molte delle attività del Bambinfestival, ma non quella relativa al basket presso l’oratorio di San Mauro. E lì, per la gioia di Lorenzo, c’era anche il suo caro amico Pietro. E il sabato piovoso si è trasformato in un sabato di festa.

It was a rainy saturday, with a lot of Bambinfestival activities that have been suspended. However, there was an interesting opportunity to try basket at Oratorio di San Mauro, and we went there. There was also Pietro, a dear friend of Lorenzo, and they had a lot of fun…

Week after week Lorenzo continues to enjoy playing volleyball at school. And today we went to Vellezzo Bellini, to see another exhibition, with a lot of baby players having fun with volley. Good job Lorenzo!!!
Lorenzo e Bea non sono sempre entusiasti di accompagnarci a fare spese. Ma quando andiamo alla Decathlon, di solito non oppongono mai resistenza, anzi… E cosi’ ecco che si divertono con gli strumenti da palestra, o giocano a nascondino nelle tende da campeggio…

Era da parecchio che non si postavano foto di orchidee, a casa sacchibelli, da quasi otto anni (vedi qui). Eppure un’orchidea e’ sopravvissuta, ma si e’ impigrita. Ma oggi, dopo tanto tempo, e tanti tentativi, ecco che uno dei boccioli si è aperto…
We posted the last orchid from Sacchibelli house more than 8 years ago (see here), but during this long period we always had an orchid at home. But it became lazy, and there was no way to have new flowers… Until today….
Se Lorenzo si era dimostrato fin da piccolissimo appassionatissimo della bici senza pedali e, già a quattro anni aveva cominciato a pedalare senza rotelle, per Bea si pensava che la strada sarebbe stata piu’ complicata, visto che si dimostrava un po’ piu’ pigra. E invece, da un giorno con l’altro, quasi senza passare dalla bici con le rotelle, eccola pedalare senza rotelle, allegra e felice, a 4 anni, come suo fratellone.
While Lorenzo always enjoyed to use his small bike without pedals and, while he was 4 years old, he already started to ride his bike withouth wheels, Bea didn’t show a similar passion, and she was a little bit lazy when she was asked to use the bike. Until few days ago, when she decided to start to ride his bike without wheels, exactly at the same age of his brother. Good job Bea!!!!
Per festeggiare l’ultimo giorno di queste lunghe vacanze pasquali, approfittando della bella giornata, abbiamo deciso di andare ad ammirare gli animali di Zoom, il parco zoologico di Cumiana, vicino a Torino. L’ingresso non è propriamente economico, ma la struttura merita, ammirare gli animali in libertà è emozionante, e la sensazione è che la struttura sia ben gestita, con grande rispetto per gli animali stessi. E per i bambini è stato uno spettacolo sensazionale poter vedere così da vicino le giraffe, gli ippopotami (spruzzoni), le tigri, i lemuri, i pinguini, i gibboni, le testuggini e lo struzzo Godzilla, per citare solo una parte della ricca varietà di animali che si possono ammirare. Insomma, una giornata davvero bella e un’esperienza da ripetere.

Today, to celebrate the end of the long Easter vacation, we decided to visit Zoom, a zoological park close to Torino. Lorenzo and Bea were very enthusiastic and to see so many animals close to us, living in a friend and open environment has been for sure an amazing experience. We were impressed by the big tigers, and by the hippos. We liked the birds of prey exhibition, the penguins, the lemurs, the rhinos and the huge variety of animals, from everywhere in the world. And, as you can see, we took a lot of pictures.
25 Aprile col tempo così così, quindi niente picnic o grigliata. Ma la Festa della Liberazione va ugualmente festeggiata e così, per rendere il giorno speciale, ci siamo concessi una gita a Milano, senza una particolare meta, per respirare un po’ l’aria della città europea, per vedere posti nuovi, per “guidare” la metro lilla e per rincorrerci tra i grattacieli di Citylife. Insomma, un giorno alla fine bello, perchè tutti insieme, e speciale.

Weather was not so good, yesterday, on April 25th. So, no way to organize a picnic to celebrate this holiday. But weather was not so bad too, so we decided to celebrate going to Milano, all together, to breathe a little of European atmosphere, to look at the skyscrapers and to “drive” the underground M5 (you can sit in first seat of the first coach, and being self driven, Lorenzo and Bea enjoyed the sensation of being the drivers…)
