Che il Ticino sia una risorsa non pienamente sfruttata per la nostra citta’, non ci sono dubbi. Ed e’ un peccato, perche’ l’ex fiume azzurro e’ comunque una bella risorsa. Oggi, per fortuna, il fiume e’ stato al centro dell’attenzione per una manifestazione che, tra le altre cose, ha previsto l’atterraggio e il decollo di idrovolanti proprio nel tratto di fiume a valle del Ponte Vecchio, nel cuore della citta’. Ed e’ stato un momento molto suggestivo, anche perche’ storicamente (vedi qui) gli idrovolanti sul Ticino atterravano per davvero.

The Ticino river is something special we have here in Pavia, but unfortunately it is often underestimate. Today it was nice to feel it as the heart of the town, thanks to a nice event, with also seaplanes landing on it, as it happened, historically, until before the second world war (see here)
