Limitandosi alla categoria “oggetti”, le mie due biciclette (mountain bike e bici da corsa) sono sicuramente cio’ a cui tengo di piu’. La mountain bike e’ storica, ha ormai 22 anni alle spalle, e mi ha accompagnato ad ogni pedale-maiale. La bici da corsa, una Bianchi comprata a Berkeley 14 anni fa, e’ magnifica e anche se datata e piuttosto pesante, quando la uso mi sembra di volare. Il suo aspetto e’ piuttosto retro’, ma da comunque grandi soddisfazioni. Recentemente l’ho “aggiornata” montando finalmente i pedalini con l’attacco alle scarpe, abbandonando le storiche cinghiette che si erano rotte nella gara di Mergozzo. E approfittando del bellissimo sole, oggi ho inagurato la stagione. E sono anche riuscito a non cadere per terra.

Among the objects, my two bikes (a mountain bike and a road bike) are for sure the ones I love more. They are quite old (the mountain bike is a gift I received 22 years ago while I bought the rode bike at Berkeley 14 years ago), but when I use them, it seems that I’m flying. I recently updated the road bike with new pedals (and shoes that connect to them), and today I tested them. I survived, and this is good enough.
