Pastiera napoletana

Oggi, 2 giugno, era la festa della Repubblica. Probabilmente non era l’occasione piu’ adatta, ad ogni modo Silvia si e’ esibita in un dolce speciale, la pastiera napoletana.
Pur essendo il primo tentativo, l’esito e’ stato decisamente positivo. Sono passate poche ore da quando la torta e’ stata sfornata, e rispetto alla foto, ora manca gia’ meta’ torta….


Today it was the “Festa della Repubblica”. It was nice to start the week with a vacation day, and to celebrate it, Silvia decided to prepare a “Pastiera napoletana”, a very special and quite complex cake. It was her first experiment on this, but the results were pretty good. Now it remains only an half of the cake you see in the pictures… And I think that before tomorrow the remaining part will vanish….
