Colazione + Pranzo

Domenica scorsa la colazione è stata particolarmente abbondante. Oltre al classico yogurt, caffe latte con biscotti e spremuta, per una congiuntura particolarmente favorevole hanno trovato posto sulla tavola sia l’ottima cassata della signora Beatrice (di cui al post precedente) che i buonissimi bagels preparati da Silvia. Si respirava aria di Sicilia per la cassata e la spremuta, e aria New Yorkese per i bagels.
A pranzo invece siamo passati al menù giapponese, con un delicato “chicken with soy and balsamic dressing” accompagnato da insalata di daykon e carote, oltre all’immancabile riso coi piselli. Il tutto gustato facendo uso dei terribili chopstick.


Last sunday breakfast was particularly huge. As usual we had yogurt, caffelatte with cookies and orange juice. But there was room also both for “cassata” (from Beatrice) and bagels (from Silvia). This kind of mixture between sicily and new yourk was great.
At lunch, we switched to japanese, with “chicken with soy and balsamic dressing”, together with rice and beans and a salad with daykon and carrots. I think Emiko should appreciate this.
