Social sacchibelli

June 29, 2010 // Posted in family  |  No Comments

In this period we are quite busy, thanks to many friends and relatives that invite us for lunch or dinner. So, last Saturday we went at my parents place for a nice lunch together with Silvia’s relatives. There were also Ilaria and Michele, and this made the lunch funny enough. Thanks again for the nice afternoon spent together

Waiting for… Irene

Manca davvero poco ormai…

Time has come and all the peluches here at Sacchibelli’s place are quite excited and waiting for little Irene. Still few days and….

Pranzo di Natale

December 25, 2009 // Posted in celebrations, family  |  No Comments

We spent Christmas day among our relatives, as usual. In particular we had Luisa and Giovanna (Silvia’s sister and mother) at our place for lunch, while, during the day, we joined the “Sacchi” relatives to share with them the dessert momentum…. Waiting for next Christmas, when we will have a new star…

Aspettando la cicogna…

December 2, 2009 // Posted in family  |  No Comments

Maybe you already know the big news, but let’s here officially communicate to the world that a baby Sacchibelli is coming. Yes, Silvia is pregnant and at the beginning of April we will welcome our little baby girl. It is nice for us to share with you our happiness.

Salame di Varzi

July 19, 2008 // Posted in family, food  |  3 Comments

Today we went to Varzi, a little town in the “Oltrepo Pavese” region, famous for the “salame crudo”. We went there to celebrate with a very good lunch my mother’s birthday.
Sacchibelli decided to post here two pictures for our numerous friends that follow the blog from the States. In the first one you can see a lot of aged “salami crudi”, and in the second one a detail of what we ate as appetizer.
For sure our american friends will reply that here in Italy we can only dream about their original and wonderful cheeseburgers, however…

Happy Birthday

Buon compleanno Silvia.

Starting with today, in sacchibelli family there is no more people whose age starts with 2. Silvia too now is 30 years old. And at her mother and sister place we ate a very nice cake.
Happy birthday Silvia.

Rassegna gastronomica

Yesterday, honouring a good family tradition, we ate in one of the restaurants adhering to the “Lodi food tasting session”. As you can see, the chosen menu was really yummy. Poor Enrico, he could not join us…

Festicciola prima di partire

October 1, 2007 // Posted in family  |  No Comments

The sacchi side of sacchibelli blog is ready to fly to California (for business, as I’m supposed to answer when someone, at the custom, will ask to me why I’m entering in the Unites States of America). The marabelli side of sacchibelli is not so happy (because she will stay in Italy) but together with Luisa and the “Mutz”, they organized a little party. Here you can see the pictures.

Sartirana Lomellina e…

July 1, 2007 // Posted in family, food  |  No Comments

We spent the sunday in Sartirana Lomellina, the place where Silvia spent her childhood. The village is very quiet, but the castle (picture) is quite impressive. Silvia’s mother cooked very good “riso e fagioli” and chicken “cacciatore” with exceptional “artigianal” french fries.
The dessert too was impressive, an hand made (by Silvia) crostata cake with ricotta and chocolate.
