Buona Pasqua

I conigli pasquali

This year we spent a quiet Easter time. We went at Silvia’s mum place where we had a great lunch. And in the picture you can see the happy invasion of the Easter rabbits wishing happy Easter to all our readers.

Nipotini degeneri…

When the sacchibelli male component was younger, he used to be a great supporter of Juventus F.C.. Today too, although less enthusiastic, I’m happy when my soccer team wins. So, to discover that the niece Ilaria is a Milan supporter and the nephew Michele supports Inter, is something that does not make him so happy…

Pranzo in compagnia

Today we went for a lunch at Enrico’s parents place spending a wonderfull day listening Beppe’s stories and eating great food.

Buon anno.

Luisa, la mamma, Enrico e Silvia

When the New Years begins, usually it is normal to think to what happened in the past and to make some good proposal for the new one. Here at sacchibelli we didn’t do anything special, but we just had a great lunch at Silvia’s mother place. And about the new year, let’s hope that it will be good. For now let’s share the first sacchibelli picture of the year…

Merry Christmas

Here you can see our little and old Christmas tree, full of gifts we received. Evidently we have beeen good guys this year….
We spent this day in family, and it was quite and happy. And let’s hope that the same has been for all of you.

6 anni dopo

Six years after our wedding, we are here, always close, in love and happy. In the picture you can admire the last lovely orchid that entered in sacchibelli’s house, the one we grabbed at the wedding of our friends Alice and Filippo.
These six years flew very fast, but they were so strong and exciting, and although we had also to face tragic moments, we hope to pass other sixty years (or more) together.

One year ago we tragically lost our little baby Irene without the possibility to hug her. This year has been really hard, but our little angel at least gave us the strength to resist, to stay together and to enforce our love. Thank you Irene, we always have you in our hearts…

Silvia, Enrico, Luisa e Paolo

Yesterday, for the last dinner of this year, Paolo and Luisa together with Giovanna (Silvia’s and Luisa’s mother) came at our place. We spent a lovely evening, eating and drinking in the wait of the new year. We also played a nice game whose goal was to “remember” the TV spot that characterized the eighty, the period when we were kids and we used to watch a lot of television. But the most characteristic element of the yesterday dinner was the french pastry camel that Paolo and Luisa brought. We never seen something similar, but it was really great. And together with the lovely cream Silvia prepared, we enjoyed an amazing dessert. Thanks a lot for joining us Paolo, Luisa and “mamma” Giovanna, and let’s hope that next year will be a good one…

Yesterday we spent the day together with “Cesco”, Silvia’s and Luisa’s cousin. He is a very special person, full of culture and interests. He traveled through the world during his life and to talk with him is always exciting. Altough he is a little bit older than us, he is also a surprisingly modern person, able to surf the web with his mac, and with a lot of interests. We obviously hope to see him soon again.

Una cognata a cena

July 6, 2010 // Posted in family, food  |  No Comments

Yesterday Francesca, one of the two sisters in law of Sacchibelli family, came at our place for a dinner. She was alone because the rest of the family (dad Marco, grandmother Margherita, little Michele and little (but not so little) Ilaria were in vacation. The dinner was quite good, and hopefully we had air conditioning working well. This allowed us to relax a little bit and to survive to high temperature and humidity we are experiencing in these days.
