I 40 anni dello zio Paolo
March 30, 2014 // Posted in celebrations, family | No Comments
Tanti auguri zio Paolo!!!!
Today it was uncle Paolo birhtday and we had him, together with aunt Luisa (aka Lulu’), at our place for a lunch. And Lorenzo was very happy about that. Thanks for joining us, and again, let us shout good wishes to you also through our blog!

Piccoli piloti crescono

As almost all the babies, also Lorenzo love to “drive” the car. Sometimes we allow him to sit at the wheel (the engine is switched off, don’t worry), and he feels really happy…

Weather was not so good during this weekend, but our Sunday was exciting and full of nice experiences. First of all, we went to the Lorenzo’s “grande” party (he celebrates his 5th birthday) and then we were invited for a dinner at Anna’s (and Luca’s and Chiara’s) place. Here Lorenzo and Anna were very special, played a lot together, generating a chaotic glee and a lot of fun. Thanks a lot to everyone!!!

Schiumino e brioche
March 16, 2014 // Posted in Lorenzo | No Comments
Lorenzo is not yet 2 years old, however he starts to like, on Sunday morning, to have breakfast outside. And it is funny to see him ordering and enjoying a “schiumino” with a “green” brioche…

On Monday and Tuesday Lorenzo’s nursery was closed because of the Carnival. So we decided to spend few days all together going to the sea. We stopped at Finale Ligure (where we have been also last summer) and we enjoyed these nice days. Weather was not perfect (but we also had some sun), but to be relaxed all together was for sure something that we really appreciated a lot. And hopefully soon we will plan some new vacation.

Good night Gorilla

Last Thursday our friend Antonio came at our place for a pizza together. And Lorenzo was so happy to see again Antonio. He had a lot of fun playing with Antonio, and Antonio was amazingly kind with him. And exceptionally Lorenzo wanted Antonio reading “Good Night Gorilla“, the book (a kind gift from Magnamotto) that Lorenzo every evening read with us before to sleep.
Thanks Antonio for being so kind with us and with Lorenzo.

Mobilita’ sostenibile

We often talk about sustainable transport, although we live in a town where this concept is not clear enough to our adnministrators. Also ittle Lorenzo is trying to do his contribution to sustainable transport, and today he started proudly driving his tricycle through the neighborhood.

Today, in the afternoon (and then they stopped also for dinner), Luca Chiara and Anna joined us for a snack (with delicious smiling cookies and a great cocoa cake) and we really enjoyed to stay all together, happy and smiling, following Anna and Lorenzo playing together. It was a great day, and we always have to thank them because we feel Luca and Chiara as special friends.

Gelato alla banana
January 26, 2014 // Posted in food, Lorenzo | No Comments
Lorenzo is really a nice and cute little boy, but sometimes it is just a bit stubborn. So today, after a lovely day spent with him, while we were watching some old photos, he focused on one of them where we were all eating a good “gelato” during our summer holidays. And he decided that he need to eat “gelato” now, January the 25th. We decided to follow his “suggestion” but we didn’t have any cream at home. So we decided to try with “gelato alla banana”, something new to us. And the results were quite good, although we can confirm that winter is probably not the best season to eat gelato.
- Zucchero: 150g
- Limone: 1 e mezzo
- Banane: 3
- Vanillina: 1 bustina

La casa di pan di zenzero
January 13, 2014 // Posted in family, food | No Comments
Grazie!!!
Last Saturday we stopped at Michele’s and Ilaria’s place (Lorenzo’s cousins) to meet them together with uncle Marco and aunt Francesca. It was funny to eat together the lovely gingerbread home Francesca prepared for Christmas. Thanks for the great dessert!!!
