Grazie Andreea

Although we never mentioned her within our blog, Andreea, Lorenzo’s baby sitter has been a very important person for us in the last two years. We consider her as a part of our family and for sure we will miss her a bit. In fact now she decided to follow a new job opportunity and we need to find someone else helping us with the babies. Thanks Andreea for beeing so special and kind with our babies and with us!!! Good luck.

Senigallia 2015

At the end, holiday times came. Last July was very busy and tired for everyone here at Sacchibelli’s. So, we went out for a two weeks vacation at Senigallia, at the beginning of August. It was the first time at Senigallia for all of us, and we found it a very nice place where to stay with two little babies (we rented a cool apartment close enough to the sea), but also full of culture and energy. The “Summer Jamboree” above all, but not only. And then, around Senigallia, we visited the amazing Grotte di Frasassi, we found great food (ciauscolo above all), we met nice persons, and we had some (partial) relax. Beatrice and Lorenzo enjoyed the location, and although Lorenzo was a bit jealous, we really had some nice moments. We won’t forget the amazing bike rides all together (Enrico & Beatrice vs Silvia & Lorenzo), the lovely “spiaggia di velluto”, and the sea, not perfect, but not so bad. Well, at the end we think that we will come back to Senigallia in the future…

American breakfast

During the weekdays, it is hard to find some relax time, busy with job and babies. But on Saturday or Sunday, we do something… And last Saturday Silvia prepared some delicious pancakes for an “almost” american breakfast.

Grazie!!!
With a bit of delay, here there is the post about last Sunday. We went at Viola’s place together with Sokratis living a kind of small kindergarden experience. Carlo and Cristina (Viola’s parents) were very kind, and we really enjoyed the small swimming poll placed in the magic courtyard of Viola’s place. Thanks a lot!!!

Ultimo giorno d’asilo…

Ormai siamo agli sgoccioli. Grazie!!! E a settembre si riparte con Beatrice!!!
After three years the kindergarden experience for Lorenzo is ending. This is the last month. It was a great experience for him and for us, and although the beginning was very hard, everything went fine. And we have to thank Graziella, Anna, Marta and Linda! They teached a lot of things to Lorenzo!!!! And Lorenzo enjoyed to stay with them and all the amazing friends he met.

Tomorrow Silvia will go back to her work life, after 7 months. The transition from full time mom to worker mom will not be easy. Beatrice is only six months old, but with the help of some good baby sitter, at least till September, when Beatrice will go to the nursery, we hope we will be able to manage both Lorenzo and Beatrice (and the job too). Let’s cross our fingers. To celebrate, this morning we went our for a nice breakfast in town.

Il fascino dei pompieri
May 23, 2015 // Posted in Lorenzo | No Comments
We recently visited Pompieropoli, and Lorenzo was very excited. But this morning we met our friend firefighter Lorenzo in front of the station, and he invited us to try the hook-and-latter, also speaking at the radio…. Thanks a lot firefighter Lorenzo…
Pompieropoli

Lorenzo, as almost all the little boys, love firefighters. So, last Sunday, we had to go to Pompieropoli, an event where actual firefighters introduced little boys to their activities. And Lorenzo, as expected, was very happy about this experience.

Ritorno allo stadio
April 30, 2015 // Posted in family | No Comments
When I was a baby, on Sunday, I used to go to watch A.C. Pavia, the local soccer team, with my uncle (zio Piero). Then we stopped, for many reasons, but after roughly 35 years, last weekend we decided to come back to the stadium, bringing with us little Lorenzo. Today “zio Piero” is a 83 y.o. uncle, but he is in a great shape, and to come back with him to watch Pavia Calcio was a nice experience, and we felt a bit nostalgic… Please note that Pavia Calcio won, and it still could win the tournement and go up to “serie B”.

Today little Lorenzo turns three. He is our baby, so it is natural for us to consider him a special baby. But he is really special. Thanks for transforming our life, for giving us, every day, a special happiness (together with a big chaos).
