Pausa pranzo a Certosa
March 24, 2016 // Posted in bike, Pavia | No Comments
Last Tuesday together with Silvia, we rode to Certosa during our lunch break. Weather was great, and we decided to go to see the beautiful Monastery, staying in a quiet atmosphere for a while. The experience was very good, also because we found a good place where to have a great “panino alla coppa”.

50 anni

Grazie!!!
Today we went for a lunch at “Oratorio del Carmine” to celebrate the 50th birthday of uncle Marco. Fifty years starts to be an impressive age, but hopefully the adult male component of Sacchibelli family is five years younger. And, however, Marco looks younger than fifty. The lunch was great, and the cake very impressive. Thanks!!!

Il ballo dei panettoni
March 15, 2016 // Posted in bike, Pavia | No Comments
Sperabilmente in modo definitivo.
Pavia is for sure not a safe place for bicycles. Cars are everywhere, and there is an excessive tolerance versus cars violations. However let’s be optimistic and let’s at least appreciate how fast reacted the “mobility council member” when I sent him the picture you see on top, where a “panettone” was placed inside a bike path to allow cars to go inside a forbidden zone. In few hours everything was corrected, hopefully in a final way.

Serata spagnola

Grazie davvero.

The dinner was spanish inspired, and it was amazing. Sangria, paella, tortilla… everything was perfect. Thanks Carmen and Giuseppe, when we are with you we feel like a home…. we consider you as a part of our family. Thanks for your kindness.

Social compleanni

Little Lorenzo is growing, and his life starts to be very social. Today he was invited to a party to celebrate Giorgio’s birthday, a swimming-mate. It was a great afternoon, with a lot of babies, and a lot of fun, also for the parents. In fact here we found some friends because also their babies were invited to the same party. And it was nice to talk each other. Happy birthday Giorgio!!!!

It is not clear to us if the way the click to sacchibelli.it are counted is accurate or not. Probably, being a service free, it is not so accurate. However, looking at the map you can see on top, some comments come up:

- Roughly 800 click in a month, for a domestic blog like sacchibelli, is an amazing number
- The locations from where these clicks come are a bit surprising: not the click from the west coast of the United States (here we have a lot of friends), but for example the 71 clicks from Tblisi, Georgia, where, if we are not wrong, we don’t know anyone.
In any case, let say hello to all our web visitors. You are welcome.

A presto!!!
Usually, at the end of the winter, Matteo comes from California to North Italy to meet his friends and to do sky. And usually, before to come back, he always find the time to stop at our place to check how we are going and how babies ar growing. So last Sunday, we were very happy to meet him again, waiting for the summer to meet also the rest of his lovely family.

Although he loves it a lot, the sacchibelli adult male component didn’t ride his Bianchi since a lot of time. So some maintenance is needed now that, with good mood, the idea is to find the time to ride again. So I went to Passione Bici, the good bike-shop close to us, where Danilo did a great job. And the bike is now ready to start again.

Teo is the first of the school mate of the sacchibelli adult male component to turn 45 y.o. So we were invited to celebrate this anniversary together with many of our old schoolmate. We know Teo since a lot of time, he is a true and special friend to us, and we were very happy to wish you happy birthday with so many friends. We went at “Caffe’ Vita” a nice and cool new location in town, and we spent a lovely afternoon. Thanks a lot Teo, and thanks Nico for helping in the organization.

Ancora a Finale

We like Finale Ligure, and we have few days available, we go there. So, typically, during Carnival short holidays we like to go to the sea, and Finale is close enough. It happenend two years ago, with Lorenzo little, and no Beatrice around, it happened last year, with Lorenzo a bit grown up and a very little Beatrice, and this year too, with a bigger Lorenzo and a very nice Beatrice. Weather was not good as expected, but during the rainy Sunday we went, by train, to Genova, to visit the famous acquarium, and it was a very funny experience.
