Triathlon a Mergozzo
September 8, 2013 // Posted in bike, free time | No Comments
Today we went to Mergozzo, to partecipate to an amazing half-ironman competition. Together with Fabio and Simone, we faced the young team arranged by Alberto, Flavio and Marco. In particular I had to ride with the bicycle for 90km. It was funny enough, and although the competion was serious (there were 500 persons involved), we engaged the race in a friendly way. And I have to thanks all of them for the special day they offered me.
Bici nuova…

As the reader of this blok know, I used to proudly ride a bike found within the public garbage (see here). After more than 10000km, it is time to change, because I inehrited a better bike. So now you can see me with this really nice light blue bike, better than the previous one, but hopefully not so good to be stolen.
Alla Certosa di Pavia

After a spring time with bad weather conditions, today we had a lovely sunny day. So we decided to ride our bicycles, riding with us little Lorenzo too, and we went to Certosa di Pavia, to see the beatiful and famous church. And we had a lot of fun, looking at Lorenzo walking in a so wide space. It is a really cuty boy!!!!

Qualcosa si muove?
April 30, 2013 // Posted in bike, Pavia | No Comments
We have been always critics against our local administrations (present and past) because they did really few things to support the use of the bicycle. And now that we ride our little Lorenzo, we better feel how risky is to ride in a town full of cars. However something is changing, and we are happy to link here what #salvaiciclisti is doing for our city: MuovitiPavia!
Finalmente

At the end, after some experiment, Lorenzo made his first bike trip, from home to the station, to wait for the mom. It was an exciting experience, and Lorenzo, with his red helmet, enjoyed to stay on his child seat. And soon we will ride again!!!
Prove tecniche di bici

Both Enrico and Silvia love to ride their bicycle here at sacchibelli. And we hope that little Lorenzo will start soon too, at list as a passenger. Yesterday we tested our setup (the little bike seat), the helmet and so on. And we are almost ready to go by bike at least to the kindergarten.
Back to road bike

As many of you probably already knows, a male component (the oldest one) of Sacchibelli’s family loves to ride his Bianchi road bike (bought 12 years ago at Missing Link). With the arrival of little Lorenzo priorities changed, so the bike was staying for some months in the garage but today, thanks to a great sunny day and to the encouragement of Silvia and Lorenzo, I took it and I rode few miles (roughly 20). It was really exciting, and hopefully in the future I will ride again, together with Silvia and Lorenzo too.

Pedale-Maiale 2012

Also this year, with a group of 7 friends, the adult male component of Sacchibelli’s house had the opportunity to ride through some nice region, within the Pedale-Maiale activity. We went to Alessandria by train, and then we rode 180 km up to Alba (and coming back) crossing some very exciting place. Food and wine were excellent. Thanks to all my friends for joining this adventure.
