Probably he will not reach his father level (he rode his bike from home to school, for 3 km, without hands), however Lorenzo is showing good skills.

Un sabato pomeriggio, il cielo blu con le nuvole bianche, un po’ di vento. E via di corsa a giocare con gli aquiloni di Pietro al parco della Vernavola. E dopo le allegre corse, merenda a casa di Pietro, con dimostrazione “pratica” del generatore di Van De Graaf mirabilmente costruito da Papa’ Luca.
Saturday, in the afternoon. The sky is blue, with white clouds. A bit windy…. So let’s try, with Pietro, to fly his kites, with a lot of fun for Pietro, Lory and Bea. And after kites time, let’s have a great snack at Pietro’s place, enjoying also the amazing Van De Graaf generator manufactured by papa’ Luca. Great job!!!!
Quello nella foto sarebbe un marciapiede. Quello che percorriamo ogni mattina per portare Lorenzo e Bea a scuola. Sarebbe un marciapiede, e invece è una giungla di parcheggi abusivi e vietati. E senza l’ombra di una multa….
What you see in the picture is supposed to be a sidewalk… The sidewalk we use to go to school with Lory and Bea… And every day we find cars parked on it. And we never seen any ticket…
Dopo circa sei mesi e mezzo, finalmente, le scuole sono ripartite. Tra mille incertezze, rigidi protocolli e la consapevolezza che siamo ancora dentro una pandemia molto complicata, il sorriso di un’emozionata Bea al suo primo giorno di scuola, e la felicità di Lorenzo per poter rivedere i compagni, sono stati una buona iniezione di ottimismo. In bocca al lupo ragazzi!!!
After more than 6 months, at the end, schools opened again here in Italy. With a lot of doubts, some concerns, but also with a lot of enthusiasm, with Bea at her first day, and Lorenzo ready to see his teachers and mates. Good luck!!!
Dopo la recente visita oculistica e in vista dell’inizio delle scuole, ecco che Bea si presenta coi suoi nuovi occhiali “viola”. Un po’ meno da “bambina” e con i suoi begli occhioni comunque in evidenza.
Bea, recently, had a new eye examination, and hopefully her eyes are going very well. However she still has to use glasses. So, considering that the old ones were not in perfect condition, we decided to buy a new pair of glasses. And here you can see Bea with a new look, almost ready to start school.
