L’altro giorno, facendo la spesa all’Esselunga, ci e’ caduto l’occhio su un particolare taglio di carne che in effetti ricordava la bistecca alla fiorentina. L’etichetta pero’ ci ha stupito un po’. Benche’ dalla foto non si veda molto, c’\u00e8 scritto “Fiorentina con osso, razza piemontese”. Ora, a parte l’ossimoro legato al fatto che Firenze non e’ in Piemonte, la domanda che sorge spontanea, e che rivolgiamo ai puristi, e’ se si possa battezzare “bistecca alla fiorentina” un taglio di carne proveniente dal Piemonte (e quindi non di razza chianina).<\/p>\n

Probably the bistecca alla fiorentina<\/a> is known all around the world. As you know Florence is in Tuscany, so we were a little bit surprised when we read the label (see photo) attached to a great piece of meat at the superstore. You can read “Fiorentina con osso, razza piemontese”, but Piemonte is a region in the north of Italy…. So, is it a mistake or is it possible to call “Fiorentina” also some meat coming from other regions?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
