\nQuesta sera tre colleghi mi hanno proposto una cena tipica singaporegna e, ovviamente, ho accettato con interesse e curiosita’. Devo dire che qui sono davvero tutti molto gentili nei miei confronti. Ed e’ bello esplorare usi e costumi locali. Di sicuro la nostra cultura europea\/italiana e’ molto diversa da quella locale, ma mentre lo stile di vita non e’ molto dissimile, in ambito gastronomico le differenze sono evidenti. Difficile anche fare un confronto. Certo \u00e8 che essendo cosi’ diversa dalla cucina cui sono abituato non sempre e’ immediato apprezzare gusti molto forti e contrastanti fra di loro. Ma giorno dopo giorno l’ambientamento migliora. Anche se i risotti all’italiana mi mancano eccome.

\nTonight three colleagues of mine proposed me a typical “singapore dinner”, and the experience was quite interesting. Singapore and Italy are very far each other, but while this distance is not so evident if you look at the lifestyle in the 2 countries, from the food point of view, the situation is very different. I’m not sure what I ate tonight. Many fish-based things, quite spicy and very strong. So different from typical italian taste, but very nice too. I will ask more details about what I’ve tried. However the kindness of my colleague is very appreciated. And it is nice now to have not only colleagues but also friends in this part of the world.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
