Come avrete letto, nei giorni scorsi abbiamo comprato casa e ora siamo impegnati in piccoli lavori di ristrutturazione.
Una delle mie mansioni (e’ Enrico che scrive) era la scelta del marmo per il rifacimento delle mensole copritermosifoni. Incarico di alta responsabilita’. Ecco com’è andata:
– Mi sono recato dal marmista e ho scelto uno splendido granito rosato (pubblicherò una foto a breve);
– Al mio ritorno a casa Silvia l’ha definito orribile;
– Sono ritornato dal marmista (un po’ perplesso) e ho optato per un travertino bianco-giallognolo (su rigide direttive impartite dall’alto);
– Un secondo check (con terza visita dal marmista), con il supporto della suocera, ha però evidenziato che era meglio un botticino, sempre bianco giallognolo…

Conclusione: la scelta del giusto tipo di marmo per mensola copritermosifone è fondamentale!!!

As known, we bought an house some weeks ago. And now we are working to renovate it a little bit. My task (Enrico is speaking) was the choice of the marble for the shelf over the radiators. Avery strategic task. This is the result:
– I went to the marble cutter store and I chose a wonderful pink granite
– When I was back at home Silvia didn’t like it too much and she defined it “orrible”
– I came back (for the second time) to the marble cutter store and, following the received commands, I chose a white-yellow “travertino” marble
– A new check, with the third visit to the marble cutter store, together with the mother-in-law, shown that the “botticino” marble would be a better choice….

Conclusion: the choise of the right kind of marble for the radiators shelf is fundamental!!!
