Caldarroste

Certo il clima californiano che di tanto in tanto evochiamo e rimpiangiamo e’ unico… Con le stagioni che si susseguono quasi uguali l’una all’altra, con il clima mite e il sole caldo ma non afoso. Ci sono certo molti draw-back come la incessante pioggia e delle nebbie (peraltro non ancora arrivate), ma tra i benefic c’e’ il fatto che certi giorni sembrano fatti apposta per mangiare le caldarroste… Quando fuori fa freddo, pioviggina ed e’ tutto grigio, ecco, le caldarroste sono l’ideale. Cosi’ ieri ecco che i sacchibelli hanno inaugurato la nuova padella per caldarroste; e pur essendo la prima volta, i risultati sono stati decisamente positivi.


For sure californian weather is the perfect one, but sometimes it is possible to find some benefit also from bad characteristics of North-Italy weather, in particular in fall time. Yesterday it was raining a lot, the sky was all gray and dark… so it was perfect time for roast chesnut. We bough a special pan and we tried it for the first time. And the results were very good…
