Next October the 26th in Pavia too there will be the switch-off of the transmission of the analog TV signal and the transition to Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT). Unfortunately the information carried on the TV signal will be always the same, usually poor and distorted. So here at Sacchibelli we will continue to watch rarely the TV, just for some interesting inquiry program as Presa Diretta and Report. But the amazing thing about this switch-off is the huge number of “old” cathode-ray-tube TV you can find around the garbage bins. Again, this is the demostration of the barbarousness of many city dwellers (ASM, for free, pick up at your place bulky garbage) amd also of the excess of consumering that characterize our society. We probably are a little bit conservative, but we love our Sony cathode-ray-tube TV, and with a very cheap decoder we can hopefully go on for many years. And, at the end, our TV is really 3D.
Switch off
