Giungla ciclabile

Ci siamo spesso lamentati dello stato “penoso” in cui versa la viabilita’ ciclistica pavese. Nulla e’ cambiato, ovviamente, ma anzi si lascia che il degrado progressivamente si porti via il poco di ciclabile che avevamo. Cosi’, pur non pretendendo di avere delle piste ciclabili lisce come tavoli da bigliardo, sarebbe carino che non ci fossero pericolose voragini e dissestamenti. L’altro giorno, percorrendo la pista ciclabile che costeggia gli istituti universitari del Cravino, ho constatato che lo stato di manutenzione era cosi’ accurato che i nostri amministratori erano riusciti a far crescere anche l’erba dall’asfalto…


We often denounced how critical it to ride a bicycle in Pavia. Bikes could be the solution to many issues related to traffic and so on, but the few bike paths we have are mutually disconnected, dangerous and their maintenance is disastrous. Few days ago, riding to the new swimming pool close to the university, I noted that a kind of miracle was happening: grass was naturally growing from the asphalt of the bike path….

Update: today I observed that some maintenance to the “growing jungle” has been done. However the general situation of the bike paths here in Pavia doesn’t change at all
